Aww, Bold Wants to be Like iPhone

They say immitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I guess the iPhone should feel glad to have another high-end device to share its problems with.

Its seems that Apple products aren’t the only ones with starting stutters. While the iPhone’s 3G dropping behavior may be caused by more major hardware shortcomings, all kinds of newly released Blackberry Bolds are popping up with similar issues.

Apparently the devices are having difficulties holding on to 3G signals and regularly drop down to oh-so-lowly EDGE speeds. Really RIM? You couldn’t have seen this bug coming? Hopefully this issue can be fixed with a software update, but honestly, we don’t think people should have to deal with issues like this from a device that they are expected to pay $500+ for.
