XPeria in October, SDK Now Live!

The nasty rumors that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 has been delayed until 2009 have been bitterly silenced by Sony Ericsson themselves. A few day ago they released the Xperia SDK, claimed the Xperia would be available in the UK and US in early October and now we’re hearing Sony Ericsson will launch the device via closed webcast in two weeks time.

Wow… talk about a complete 180! We’re glad that Sony Ericsson was able to get their act together and respond to the 2009 rumors rather quickly because if they WERE true I think a lot of people would consiously decide that they no longer cared about the Xperia. It’s just been too long.

But now, we can look forward to the Xperia once again!
