LG VX9600 = LG SmartLink

If a purported internal Verizon document listing upcoming release dates for mobile email is to be believed, the LG VX9600 will be named the LG SmartLink.

The screen shot shows many other devices that have already been named including the Samsung Sway, Motorola Blaze and Motorola Rapture. The Blaze is thought to become the Kraze while the Rapture was once nicknamed the Nokia, so the SmartLink name is anything but set in stone. Plus, nobodies sure if this “leak” is real or not. Time will tell we suppose.

Engadget initially reported on this leaked information but the focus was on the Moto ZN4 being pushed back to October and the Nokia 7205 delaying until January 2009. We’re suckers for knowing what the next cool phone will be called…

So will it be called the LG SmartLink?
