Samsung EPIX for AT&T
October 3, 2008 in AT&T, Handsets, Samsung
Samsung keeps bringing the heat and the lastest wave is an AT&T device named EPIX. It’s the Samsung i780 that we’ve seen in the past and it looks like an October 23rd event is planned to show off the device to lucky invites.

Not too shabby!Based on the “Breakout Sessions” it seems like the event is an internal sales event to help AT&T Employees promote the phone to customers.
Some of the specs include:
- Windows Mobile 6.1 (Professional)
- Optical joystick which doubles as the select button for the 5-way D-pad
- UMTS/HSDPA, and GPS
- Likely a camera (with VideoShare)
- Bluetooth
Looks like we’ll see this drop with the AT&T Fuze sometime in October. Man, Halloween month looks to have a lot of treats this year…

Anyone else run accross this info from Windows MobileĀ® Training?
It's an announcement for an upcoming webinar to introduce the Samsung Epix with an official tech trainer from Samsung. This puts a dent in my hopes that the i907 was the Omnia.
To quote:
"We're very excited about our new event series, and for this inaugural session, we're absolutely thrilled to bring you an exclusive chance to talk live with Samsung about their upcoming i907 Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional phone on AT&T, otherwise known as the Epix."
It also includes the usual Epix photos.
Any thoughts?
