HTC T8290: First WiMax Phone (Russia)

Details of the first ever WiMax phone have been released and it appears to be coming courtesy of HTC and destined for Russia. WiMax is the super fast 4G wireless network that Sprint says will revolutionize the mobile Internet - which is probably true. WiMax is the technology and XOHM is Sprint’s WiMax brand… the WiMax in Russia is branded as “Yota”.

But you want to know more about the device, right?

• 3.8″ 800×480 WVGA LCD
• GSM+WiMax
• 802.11g WiFi
• Bluetooth 2.0

That’s a good start. How does it look?
