RIM Releases Blackberry Web Signals

There are two things you should know about Blackberry users:
1. When we are using our Blackberry’s but aren’t typing, we are probably playing Brick Breaker and,
2. We like receiving information more from our Blackberry’s then from, say, the rest of the world.
So it seems in good taste that RIM has announced a new way to get yet more information to the screens of Blackberry users far and wide, in the form of Blackberry Web Signals.
Not quite emails, not quite texts, these packets of information are pushed to devices from any number of information sources one might frequent, such as Canada’s CBC News (if you live in Canada, or think Canada is sweet, which it is), Accuweather, The New York Times, Reuters, Thumbplay, Dada Entertainment, Fox News, and The Washington Post. Hey, if it saves valuable time spent scrolling around with the browser I’m all for it.
