Samsung Innov8 Through FCC, On Amazon, Soon AT&T
| by Rob on December 30th, 2008 |
If you want one of the most amazing digicam phones on the planet and happen to live in North America your options are expanding rapidly. The Samsung Innov8 is an 8 megapixel powerhouse that has just popped up on Amazon and unlocked for $799.

Fret not frugal folks, the phone also passed through the FCC with a 850/1900MHhz model that is likely to hit AT&T with those subsidized discounts we all love so much. It could also be used on Rogers 3G network in Canada but that – at least at the moment – seems less likely.

Some of the Samsung Innov8 key features:
- Symbian S60-powered
- 8 Megapixel Camera
- Dual LED Flash
- Digital Image Stabilization
- Facial Recognition
- WiFi
- GPS Receiver
- MicroSD
- 3G Connectivity
This is looking REALLY good. With Casio’s Exilim Phone hitting Verizon in the near future as well, its only a matter of time before your phone replaces your digital camera as the technologies converge.
