Phenom Watch Phone: Mobile Wrist Fashion
| by Rob on January 5th, 2009 |
I’m the type of person who doesn’t wear a watch. While it used to be an object of convenience, cell phones have kicked watches into obsoletion, rendering them bloated pieces of expensive jewelry. Unless of course, you have your eyes and wrist set on a Phenom Watch Phone.

How is it different from a regular watch?
- Unlocked GSM Cell Phone
- MP3/MP4 Player
- Digital & Video Camera
- Micro SD Card
- TouchScreen
- BlueTooth
- USB port
- Speaker Phone
There are a few different models which are apparently for “jocks”, “nerds” and “stylistas”. While I wouldn’t have pigeonholed each model, especially with any negative connotations, functionality like this could make me strap a watch to my wrist after a long absence.
The Phenom Watch Phone has its fair share of downsides – the SD Card is only 2GB and we doubt the video playback or recording is anything to write home about, but then again, we’ve been pleasantly surprised before. I think the real question is… would you prefer the LG Watch Phone?
