Sony Ericsson W508, W508a Announced

Sony Ericsson today announced the W508 and W508a, a pair of identical Walkman made for different carriers that are pleasing to the eye and extremely customizable on an appearance level. The W508 allows users to change covers, each offering its own distinct style and feel depending on your personality/mood. These covers are interchangeable and called “Style-Up” covers.
Here are a few of the available flavors:

That graffiti one is pretty tight, huh? You can see that the front of this flip phone has only 3 buttons, for music playback, and an OLED display. Flip it open and what do you have?

A pretty generic flip phone. The W508 builds on the success of the W380 and it does indeed have some nice features. As usual, it has all the features of your typical Walkman phone such as TrackID, PlayNow, ShakeControl Gesture Control and all that jazz. In addition you’ve got a 3.2MP camera with digital zoom and picture/video blogging features and more.
Its North American bound but we’re unsure of carrier and price, but if its reasonable, I would expect a decent amount of these to be bought based on nice looks/functionality balance it offers.
