Palm may have made a boo boo. Or purhaps a purposefully publicized slip. But either way, it appears that one of Palm’s Agencies of Record owns PalmMWC2009.com and accidentally (and briefly) let slip a little splash page that is sure to reveal more come the big event. Palm has since pulled it down but here is a screen cap below:

Palm has already said that they WILL roll out the Pre to other areas of the world shortly after an American launch. The 2009 Mobile World Congress is taking place in Barcelona… what better place than to announce their European version of the phone?

Of course we wouldn’t complain if they announced the following,either:

• Applications for the device
• Developer Contest for WebOS
• Immediate launch of US Pre
• Announcement of additional phones running WebOS
• Free Palm Pre for the author of this post

Go ahead and read that over, Palm PR people. Especially that last bullet point. Pretty please?

UPDATE: Palm is officially saying that the website was and is meant for internal use only and nothing for consumers/media will appear on the site come the event. Dangit. Read the bullet points anyways.
