Palm undercut themselves in a way. They’ve now got a bunch of products on the market that nobody wants. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to find anybody that wants anything Palm currently has to offer. I mean, why not wait a few months and have a crack at the Palm Pre?

That’s what a lot of people are probably thinking that now since the Palm Treo Pro is available on Sprint for $250. Its a nice handset and all… well designed, got pretty good reviews… but the Palm Pre and Palm WebOS are in a world of their own and will be coming to Sprint in 5 months at the LONGEST. Some signs are pointing to within 1 month.

So hop on the Treo Pro Plane if you will but we’re not recommending it. Especially if you’re a Sprint customer… PATIENCE! If you’re on a different carrier and waiting to purchase something else because you fear your precious Pre will plop on your network days later… that’s a risk I would consider taking.
