LG Versa To Mobilize At Best Buy February 22nd

The hardware widgetized LG Versa, which is being compared to an LG Dare with clip-on LG Voyager features among other additions, has been snapped on camera and now the release date has been caught on screen. BestBuy’s inventory system shows the LG VX9600 Versa arriving on 02-22-2009 which, in English, is February 22nd.
It’ll be really interesting to check out the hands on reviews of the LG Versa. It COULD be a big hit, I think especially if the gaming module catches on with the younger demographic. But if each versatile piece sucks equally… there will just be more suckiness to go around. Its a cool concept and you can’t or shouldn’t diss an attempt to be unique and innovate, but this is a hard concept to pull off effectively.
Hopefully they’re able to.

Boo. Who would want to carry around a bunch of accessories for every different thing on there phone. Just stick with either the Dare or the Voyager. Don’t try to combine them

I think it is a great concept. Obviously, you would not carry around the accessories or seperate modules, but, the one you want, you would keep on there. I would like to have a Dare phone, with the keyboard! Or what if I was one to listen to music a whole bunch, I would just leave the speaker functions on it, and go. The phone would function with whichever… oh and the gaming module… For whoever.
I was looking at the Rebate forms that came out today. The Versa is on it “Versa™ 6-52810-81415-7 $ 50″ . I wonder how it will do.
