Samsung Haptic Pop For South Korea

Don’t get excited if you don’t live in South Korea. And even if you DO live in South Korea, tame your expectations. The Samsung Haptic Pop has a pretty trendy name and it fits with the fashion phone angle Samsung is taking. With a 3.2 inch touch display, 432×240 pixels, T-DMB tuning and… haptic feedback… we’re not sure how much this thing actually “pops”.
For starters, the Haptic Pop runs Samsung’s proprietary OS which immediately adds to the fizzle. But the real selling point here is aimed at mass market cool kids who will enjoy the 9 changeable back plates so you can switch up your style every day of the week with room to spare:
If I could read Korean, I would tell you what the above captions said. Since I cannot, I will just inform you that unless you live in South Korea, where it is assumed you WOULD be able to speak Korean, you will not be able to buy this phone and therefore it is unimportant. So then why would I even make this post, you ask?
The answer was in Korean and I couldn’t translate it… sorry.

It saays “Sweet cover”, “Cutty brand new ready display”, “More cute haptic icon”, “DMB”, “3.0 Camera”, and “SOS system”.
the above left two covers are limited edition, right covers are basic packs. the bottom one is that you can buy at the samsung service center.

i want the phone. when will it be released outside south korea? i hope it would be soon… i really wanted the phone’s features. it’s cool. if ever i would have the chance to buy it there in korea, i still need to make something for me to use it in other country, right? but i really wanted something like this. knowing again, it’s from samsung. before i wanted the f480. but it seems this is a better one. it has interchangeable backplates… wow… i really can’t wait for this to be released somewhere. i know im not from South Korea, i also know that all i can do now is just wait… hmmmm

i have the older version of haptic phone, it’s the first generation model but in blue (the one hero jaejoong advertised for), u CAN use the phone in the states, however, i lot of the fuzzy functions cannot be used. U dun have to know korean to use the phone, i don’t, just set the menu to english

There’s 2 basic pattarn and colour will give it to you, other than those 2, you can choose another extra 3 different style from the bottom

haptic pop is only in korea, but there’s a way to use in other countries with magic SIM

Why are there some kinds of mobile of Samsung or LG sold in only Korean market but not sold outside Korean? Can anyone answer me?
I ‘d love to have one Samsung Haptic. It attracts our attention at the first sight (although I don’t like to use mobile of Samsung or LG before that. I prefer Nokia/Sony Ericssion. From our point of view, softwares of Nokia or SE are more intelligent, convenient, easier for user).

I’m Korean and I’m pretty sure that when you buy it, u can just buy the phone itself and put a SIM card in it, or subscribe it or sign it up (whatever it’s called -_-…) to a carrier

M.Chang, Korea has phones that are only released here because Samsung, LG and other companies made seperate mobile phone companies, for example:
Samsung = Anycall
LG = Cyon
These are companies that only release phones in Korea. Some models are released under their international names (Samsung, LG) like the Samsung Omnia II is known as the Anycall Haptic AMOLED…

There’s no assurance that this phone will be sold outside korea,because this model is for korea only,but you can use it outside korea because it has UMTS frequency if your country have this frequency,yes you can use this phone.
