Two of the hottest upcoming Windows Mobile devices are the HTC Touch Diamond2 and the HTC Touch Pro2 and we know, you’re thinking “Windows Mobile” and “hottest upcoming” probably shouldn’t go together. They should because HTC’s TouchFLO UI saves the day in the originals and these 2nd round handsets as well… but it will cost you. The Touch Diamond 2 will come out in mid-May for about $720 while the Touch Pro2 will launch late June for $879.

That’s an awful lot of money, isn’t it? It sure as heck is… what will you be getting for dropping your piggy bank on these things?

Not bad… but nothing that blows us away enough to drop $700+ on EITHER of them! With plenty of sub-$200 phones that are fully capable floating around, we have to wonder how many consumers will take a stab at phones like these.
