“Wo” 3G Network Launching in China

I can’t say that Wo is a reaction I had when I first witnessed 3G in action (it was more like subtly underwhelmed) but China Unicom is hoping that its users will feel differently with the launch of their new high-speed data WCDMA network. The branding still ends up looking pretty cool against China Telecom’s “e-surfing” and China Mobile’s “G3″ though. Wo will be launching on May 17th in 55 markets with construction continuing for more markets. Looks like the internet will indeed be serious business in China soon enough.
