And just when we were about to declare Twitter one of the new frontier of legitimate news sources. But no, the shame! The ZunePhone is a hoax. Apparently some lonely, frightened, drooling Apple fanboy decided that he would totally smash the Zune’s reputation by making up fake rumours about it while attempting to make Apple aware that their are security concerns for the iPhone. Yeah, we don’t see it either.

Too bad he compared the Zune to the iPhone (how many times do we have to say it people, music player vs. phone is apples vs. oranges), and has probably never had the pleasure of actually using a Zune device. Oh well, it is mindless Apple followers that make dreary Tuesdays more interesting, if at their expense.
