Samsung i7500 Renamed Galaxy with July Release date

Samsung has recently passed this touch-screened beauty through FCC, and we hope to see it out on T-Mobile sometime in the fall, but it looks like the i7500 will see more action over in Europe first. French carrier Bouygues Telecom has announced that it will start shipping its first Android-powered handset, the Samsung Galaxy (aka i7500), in early July. Prices and details are still foggy but the name change makes the device a bit more recognizable, especially when its brethren go by names such as “Dream” and “Magic.”

The device itself features quad-band GSM, triband HSDPA (900/1700/2100Mhz), a 3.2 inch, 320 x 480 pixel AMOLED display, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3.5 mm headset jack, GPS, 8GB of storage with an expansion port and 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. That is quite a line-up of stats, so this should definitely prove to be an exciting device, whenever it decides to share the love with North America.
