HTC Sense UI to Come to Windows Mobile

Ever since we saw the HTC Sense UI debue for Android (and shortly thereafter started singing Joe Cocker’s masterpiece in unisen), the Windows Mobile phones of the world have been a little bit jealous.

Things were looking dark for the Sense UI when HTC announced only non-Google branded phones would get the addition, but it appears the company has its sights firmly set on bringing the sexy UI to Microsoft’s aging operating system:

The Hero UI has been created specifically for HTC’s Android-based phones but also represents that three core pillars of HTC Sense. HTC’s future Windows Mobile phones will also be based on HTC Sense, but will enhance Windows Mobile in a way that is as appropriate and valuable to people.

Thats exciting, for sure, since seeing any version of Sense that can be added to the WM UI is a huge step in the right direction. No word on exactly when or how the company hopes to accomplish this, but we’re praying that it might start with firmware updates to current products.
