Its not that we don’t like the Aura, its beautiful, and a testament to the usually high-quality level of materials Motorola likes using with their phones, but, are you really serious about this Motorola? Apparently Moto never got the memo on this whole global-economy meltdown that we have been going through, because they have seen fit to release a special edition of an already hugely overpriced luxury handset.

The Celestial Edition doesn’t really include anything special hardware wise, although it does get a laser-etched quote honouring the 40th anniversary of the moon-landing mission. Also included is a sexy celestial theme, and pre-loaded multimedia from the original mission. The price, well, if you have to ask you can’t afford it, or you shouldn’t at any rate. This special Aura goes on sale next month.
