Nokia’s excellent Ovi Maps application has been getting a little long in the tooth for a while, but with the newest Beta now becoming official and ready for public consumption its once again one of the best.

New features included are 3D landmarks, higher-resolution satellite imagery for both 2D and 3D modes, more POI information for destinations, integrated weather forecasts, improved pedestrian and turn-by-turn modes, and, finally, real-time traffic information for the US (Canada please? Yes we do have traffic).

Thats a lot of great features to have for sure, so we’re also happy to see that this product works with 26 of Nokia’s current S60 products. Now, stop reading this awesome blog and go update, for the good of all.
