The myTouch 3G is cool and all, but in the face of something like the HTC Hero its hard not to feel like its missing a little bit of awesome. So, seeing as T-Mobile has already launched the first two HTC Android-powered handsets, you might see why people were hoping, nay, praying that the HTC Hero might soon be among its Android ranks.

But this is not to be so, and this time its a straight forward “no” instead of the normal hedging around the question. Not all hope is lost for a debut in North America though, since Sprint is rumoured to be getting the Hero and the FCC has just passed an AT&T-ready version of the phone. Still, we have to wonder, why not T-Mobile?
