The super-powered Sony Ericsson Satio has finally passed through the FCC but has done so wielding a big ‘ol block of kryptonite – GSM 850 and 1900 bands that are relegated to EDGE. Where is the 3G?

Are we missing something here? Surely AT&T isn’t going to gimp this device with less than best connectivity… are they?
