This thing is pretty much pure insanity. With a candy bar body that looks like a caterpillar and a see through screen that makes web browsing or multimedia viewing impossible, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness has one goal – unfortunately we haven’t quite figured out what that goal is yet. Either way it just passed the FCC:

Sony Ericsson is known to launch these crazy “conversation piece” phones and put them on sale for thousands of dollars so it will be interesting to see where the Pureness lands in terms of price. Personally I haven’t seen anyone walking around with these “elite” fashion phones that have inferior capabilities. But if you’re really only in it for the fashion, and you’re rich, maybe you should buy it and then give me a ring so I can see it in person… and then hang out at your mansion afterwards.
