Apparently, whenever RIM recognizes that one of its devices might be getting a little out of date it establishes the need to launch said device in white. Witness the oh-so-far-gone Pearl, the Bold (9000) just a few weeks ago, and now this, the 8900. Yes, the 8900 isn’t really that old, but the white does give it a touch of that wise n’ experienced look.

On the upside, there is no white keyboard to greasify or stain (just google Macbooks to find proof of that issue). No word yet on when we should expect to see this sexy little numba hit the shelves, but keep an eye out for it soonish at your local AT&T store.
