Verizon to up its ETF to $350 on ‘Advanced Devices’
| by Elias Chiddicks on November 6th, 2009 |
We aren’t exactly sure what constitutes an “Advanced Device” but this is still a pain no matter which way you color it. Verizon has no doubt brought this forward to stem the tide of quick thinkers who frequently dumped their devices on eBay to pay the $175 cancellation fee and pick up the newest and greatest smartphone.

From our point of view, Advanced Devices might include Blackberries, anything with Windows Mobile, and most likely the DROID. Either way, make sure you plan for this should you want out of your agreement early.
