Samsung Omnia 2 On Verizon December 2nd

The original Samsung Omnia was a big hit and the manufacturer has since expanded that single phone into an Omnia family, with Lite and Pro models in addition to the direct sequel – Omnia 2. Those who have been waiting for the second Omnia coming won’t have to wait much longer – it will launch December 2nd on Verizon Wireless:

Leaked documents suggest the Omnia 2 will be launching at $200 after a $100 rebate.

The video below shows off the Omnia 2 with its 3.7-inch screen (although resistive), 800MHz processor and improved TouchWiz UI:
With this sitting side-to-side with the Motorola Droid it will be interesting to see how it fares.

Does the Omnia 2 include Microsoft Voice Command?
Does user-independent voice dialing work thru a bluetooth headset? Does announcement of the caller’s name work through a bluetooth headset? (I’ve had very disappointing answers to these questions with respect to the HTC Touch Pro 2, HTC HD2
and the Verizon Android.)
