We know Samsung is working on their own feature/smartphone operating system called Samsung Bada that will launch early next year. They held a launch event in London… but hardly learned anything. Afterwards we found out that Bada can’t even run apps in the background which is disappointing but perhaps we have SOMETHING to get excited about…

It doesn’t look half bad but I think we can all agree that looks are only half the battle. Of course some people want simple phones and I doubt Samsung even wants to compete with the likes of Android and the iPhone, but they’ve certainly got their work cut out for them regardless of WHAT they intend to accomplish. The competition is FIERCE these days.
