For a LONG time people were talking about the Palm Pre and at what point, if ever, it would land on Verizon. Those rumors haven’t been circulating much lately as the Pre hype has died down a whole lot and even when it launches, most customers will probably favor the Droid. But nonetheless, employees will be getting trained on the device from now through January 4th:

Rumor has it that this is all leading up to an unveiling of some sort at CES with both Palm and Verizon. We can only hope… but we hope it isn’t ONLY about the Pre and the Pixi. And hopefully this year we won’t have to wait 6 months to see the CES stuff come to life!
