Ex-Pres of Google China Says Apple Tablet is iPhone With 10.1 Inch Screen
| by Elias Chiddicks on January 4th, 2010 |
Kai-fu Lee, ex-president of Google China, is apparently closely connected with Apple through one of their suppliers, Foxconn. As of late, he’s been spilling all the beans on Apple’s rumoured (read: may as well be official) tablet, or iTablet, or iSlate, or iBigiPhone or whatever they end up calling it.

According to a recent post (and some shaky translating), this is what he has to say about it:
The Apple Tablet looks like a bigger iPhone that sports an awesome UI packed in a beautiful 10.1-inch screen. The tablet combines the functions of both netbook and kindle, an ebook reader. It has virtual keyboard for text entry and a webcam for video conferencing.
Sounds like a pretty logical device for Apple. Apparently Kai-fu Lee has proven a pretty reliable source of information for upcoming Apple gadgetry in the past, so are bets are on this being pretty close to the truth.

I would say so far this is the most reliable source to come forward.
