This sounds like something painfully simple that should be in the manual. If its the same as the Voyager you:

Of course I'm not sure if the touchscreen UI and contacts are the same. Don't have the Glyde but this should be REALLY simple.

If its the same as the Voyager you: Dial the number AS IF making a call Press SAVE Add New Contact Choose Mobile/Home/Work/etc "Touch Here" under "Name" and fill it in Of course I'm not sure if the touchscreen UI and contacts are the same.
