by putting a 3rd party app on your phone, such as Bitpim,does that void the warranty on the phone,or is it ok to put anything on the phone?....(and yes, i know putting anything on the phone is your risk...) just want to make sure im not messing with the warranty

I would think that if you put an application on there using BitPim and totally SCREW your phone up... you will have voided your warranty. Of course unless its obvious you messed it up yourself they may just replace it.

I'm not a BitPim magician so I really only do the things that others have successfully demonstrated so that I know I'm not going to mess my phone up.
