Default Yankees vs. Orioles

So I live in Baltimore and I'm going to the Yankees vs. Orioles game tomorrow night. I'm sure about half of the forum will revolt when I admit that yes... I am a Yankee fan.

I was born in Manhattan, lived in Connecticut until I was about 6 and moved to Baltimore already being obsessed with the Yankees. Over the years the Orioles have grown on me and while my family had converted to Orioles fans 100%... I was still split at about 65/35 or so.

My problem was that I was SPOILED. The Yankees make the playoffs every single year... they have for the last 10+ years. You know they'll make it... so much that I practically tune out the regular season and just wait for the playoffs to arrive so I can cheer them on.

That took a lot of the fun out of baseball for me, I think. In the same way that rooting for a team you know ISN'T going to make the playoffs would. I know this now because the Yankees are 5.5 games out of the WILD CARD race and there is only 1 month of baseball left. They are finally the underdogs... and they may not even make the playoffs.

I haven't been this excited to go to a major league baseball game in God knows how long. And no... I'm not an obnoxious fan... I'm known to cheer for both teams, especially if the opposing team makes an awesome defensive play. I'm a sucker for good D.

Anyways, just wanted to share my excitement with everybody... I haven't been this excited about baseball in a LONG TIME. It's funny how I'm excited about the fact that we're losing hahaha.

Maybe I'll try to snap a few pics and upload them here... or too my MobileRoar profile/gallery (which I haven't tested out yet). By the way, if you live on the East Coast and haven't been to Camden Yards you are missing out.

Here are a few pictures from the game. I uploaded in them into my album on MobileRoar - first time I've done this. I don't really use my digital camera much but I'm hoping to so this was a learning process for me.

Basically I organized all my pics in Picasa (Google's desktop software for pictures) and then I exported this folder of pics and set their width all to 550px which made it easy to put in my album (max width is 600):

I'm hoping to get more into my camera/pictures and admit I don't know much about that whole area at the moment... so feel free to leave me any tips!

I'd also like to make the MobileRoar albums/picture gallery feature more entertaining, useful, easy to use and fun so we'll see if I'm able to incorporate that.

Crabcakes... mmmm... and most of you probably don't know about Old Bay. Its a DELICIOUS spice used on crabcakes, crabs, seafood, popcorn, potatoes, corn, etc....

Most people don't know about Old Bay and I don't think they sell it everywhere. But, its a nice little spice to have in the cabinet if you're the cooking type. There definitely isn't anything like it.

BTW: Thanks for the reply, Aepple. I was afraid I might be lounging by myself in here!
