This may be some basic question,

Can somebody help me understand what does the "Idle mode text" option do in the "Today->Items"?

I tried searching for the it but cannot find any details.

It doesn't do anything if I set it.

Any help?

Idle Mode define as mobile phone will be in on condition but not working.

It's an approach to displaying text on the home screen when idle such as messages or RSS feeds. Similar to the Ticker function coming in Windows Mobile 7.

I may be wrong but I will continue to test and report back
