That is a known issue with the i910 model. The default installed keyboard doesn't work. Many people find the built-in keyboard too tight for good typing and install a 3rd party keyboard. I use spb keyboard because it spaces out the keys making typing much easier and it works with google maps. Others use touchpal, but many have problems getting that one installed. Touchpal didn't work for me.

keyboard with Google Maps
I had the same problem too, but noticed that if you turn on XT9 instead of ABC mode it works fine. You don't need to use the stylus keyboard.

Yup, this works, only problem is you can't do numbers.

If you have the Verizon version the GPS is locked. It is supposed to be unlocked sometime this year.

I read an alleged response to an email sent to Steve Schwed, Verizon Wireless HQ Executive Relations Supervisor, and it said the GPS is to be unlocked by June provided that all the testing goes well.

i seem to be running into the same issue with entering an address. can enter numbers which kind of defeats the purpose of using it for directions. also can't paste into the address field
