My phone does not let me choose my incoming call ringtone. Whenever I select a wanted ringtone (whether it be one that came with my phone or a custom ringtone), it just switches BACK to the ringtone: "1960s" all by its self. (This started to happen yesterday).
Hmm... I've never had problems with not selecting or using ringtones. My only thought is that it might not be able to play that ringtone file. Are your ringtone files MP3? Where on the device are they saved? If you hit the play button in the ring setup screen does it play?
Yes, it is a MP3 file and it is in the "My Ringtones" folder. I'm sure my device can play these files, because I had no problem with this about a week ago! And... no, when I hit the play button on the ring setup screen, it does not play. None of the ring tones do o_o..
Not sure what to tell you on this one. Have you installed any applications recently that have to do with ringtones? Have you tried reloading those ringtones via ActiveSync and seeing if that fixes it? If you can't play them back through the phone settings it almost sounds like the files just aren't accessible anymore.
Ugh.. this is very frustrating. I just realized my incoming text message does not make any sounds as well. And the only ringtone that does work is that 1960s ringtone. What the heck is happening to my phone..

I'm suddenly having similar troubles. What ROM are you using? I'm using the leaked 6.5 and Adryn's version 3.4. I have to set the classic bell through file explorer and then I can't choose, but from a few, on individual contacts. Weird.
