Looks pretty good. I hope they offer one in black...
I know a lot of people don't really like the design but I can kinda dig it. Ther only thing I am really worried about is the ease of typing with your right hand. Hopefully it won't be too bad.
I was thinking the same thing with the "right hand" given that chunk of phone on the side. But remember that is a tilted type of chin... I'm thinking that HTC might have had ergonomics in mind and it might actually be EASIER to type.
Lets be honest, it looks kind of weird, right? Its pretty obvious that it looks weird with that block at the bottom. Soooo... perhaps we can assume there is an equally obvious reason that they put it there. And perhaps ergonomics is one of the reason.
I don't know, I'm just guessing. And partially trying to defend it to myself because I kind of *want* there to be reason it looks the way it does!
The good news, however, is that just from the pictures I can tell how much more fleshed out the Android OS is than the last time is was publicly shown off. Which is definitely good news because I am getting this phone for the OS, not the design.
If you look at the 3rd and 4th picture with the slider open. What i am afraid of is the thumb which is the most common finger used to press keys. what if it leans on the "menu" key for some people. it could repeatly press the menu and interupt the typing.
I like it... I have seen some of the pictures and this is exactly what I was thinking it would look like. Very nice design - now debating between white and black version
I like the concept and the look. I have a feeling it will be white hence the name Dream?.. I dont know just a thought.
Hope the battery life is better than the shadow or I will have to wait for an extended battery for this one too.

I hope the keyboard turns out alright. I hope the keys are like that of the Motorola Q, with bumps, rather than the flat keys of the enV or Voyager, or even worse, flush with the body.

Years ago when I had my Sidekick II I was able to easily type with just my right hand so I believe that it's highly possible that this will be the same scenario. Whats really nice about this type of a design is that if you have both hands free you can speed up the typing whereas on phone like my blackberry pearl, there really isnt enough room to use two thumbs.
