Wifi Wierd people...
People really believe the iPhone can be unlocked for Verizon Wireless.

It is amazing how these people are capable to stage their videos to show you how to do it...but...when it comes down to it, it isn't possible...

Verizon vs. AT&T has completely different networks! But these videos look so real and the people believe them!

Take a look at a few videos I found:





It is kinda funny...

I am pretty sure it is not possible, never seen it...but I really don't know exactly...offer your opinions.

sound's true , a friend of mine says he knows a guy who has the i-phone to verizon. havent seen it so cant say if its true..

Of course it's true. My daughter says her friend in daycare's mom's aunt on her mother's side knows a kid that did it once. It MUST be true.

It may be...I personally just wanted to throw it out there. I know that Verizon Wireless is obligated not to activate it...if the customer tells them it is the iPhone...

But I know the technologies (CDMA and GSM) are completely different and react to the towers differently...and GSM uses more of a Global spectrum (closer related to satellites). CDMA also doesn't use SIM Cards, we use ESN codes, so how do they generate an ESN for the phone?

The phone can say whatever carrier you want it to say. Like when Chief had the iPhone for a minute he made it to say ISMACKHOES for his carrier. Mine is going to say IMACOOLGUY.

Are you saying that you can change the text in that top banner? If so, then I would imagine that anyone with an iphony would see this and know that the vids are fake/ bad info...
