Yes! It is actually a great deal...
It is very cheap, have you heard the details?
I will explain it later, when I get back on...don't have time at the moment, but will be back!

Nationwide Connect Plan--Verizon Wireless
Here is my explanation for the new plan below:
I will explain the basic one for 450 minutes and then click the show button for a larger view of the pricing scale.
All of the nationwide select plans will offer:
- Unlimited IN Calling (like every plan)
- Unlimited Messaging, to anyone (includes picture/video)
- No domestic roaming or long distance (within the United States)
- Unlimited Night & Weekend Minutes (like every plan)
- Free Mobile Email
- Unlimited Mobile Web 2.0
- Unlimited Data (Get it Now, etc)
How much do you think a plan like this (all of the above) would cost if you received 450 minutes?...take a wild guess...no other carrier can compete with this (at this moment, but when it is released, they will surely press the gas). You get all of the bulleted features above + 450 anytime minutes for $69.99. That's amazing. The plan officially opens on November 16th for customers and November 14 for employees.
Below is a price scale showing the amount of minutes and the price. They all include the above features.
Also, sorry PDA/Smartphone/Blackberry users, these plans are not available to you in any size, shape, or form.
Attention all current PDA/Smartphone users:
Beginning on November 14, all devices that are considered PDA/Smartphones will require an additional data plan, this is NOT optional. The data plans are $29.99 or more in addition to your current calling plan.
Phones that people believe are PDA/Smartphones, but are mistaken. These phones will not require the data plan: LG Voyager, LG Dare, Samsung Glyde. Once again, the three phones (and all other non-PDA) phones will not be effected.

Is this the same plan as the premium plan that is currently 79.99?? This sounds like everything that I have now but about 20$ cheaper....

Yes, very similar, but lacking the VZNavigator (and possibly V CAST Video from device). We brought this plan out to allow people who didn't have a PDA but didn't need all of the additional stuff (like V CAST and VZNav). So that these people didn't need to pay extra when they didn't need it.
Also, beginning November 16, people who sign up for VZNavigator and/or Visual Voicemail will receive one month free of the service.

Family plans for this plan are also available, and they include identical features to the normal non-family share plans.
The pricing is slightly different [More Expensive] like all Verizon Wireless family plans.
The pricing for the plan for 700 minutes is $119.99. Remember, this plan includes:
- Unlimited IN Calling (like every plan)
- Unlimited Messaging, to anyone (includes picture/video)
- No domestic roaming or long distance (within the United States)
- Unlimited Night & Weekend Minutes (like every plan)
- Free Mobile Email
- Unlimited Mobile Web 2.0
- Unlimited Data (Get it Now, etc)
Click "show" to view the further pricing for more minutes:

Nick,
I respect the fact that you have a close proximity to this VzW info regarding plans, and I greatly appreciate you posting this in such a concise manner. But where is the correction from post 2 to post 1? My eyes can't pick it out.

That was actually an error. I didn't mean to post a correction post...well at first I did, until I notice the post needed no correction.
I thought the "show" button on the first post didn't work...but in reality, it takes a few minutes before the button becomes active.

I know, we do this frequently, don't ask me though...it just is...
This is for our basic family share plans, the pricing is similar, except there is a 6000 minute plan available. Ignore that and look at the Unlimited and the 4000 minute bundles. You may need to enter your zipcode before it shows you the data.

Nick,
I was looking on the VzW site and cant seem to find that exact family play that you had posted about. Is it not available yet? Could you link a fool like me to it? Please?
Come to think of it, I can't seem to find my family plan on the VzW site at all. Maybe they don't offer it anymore? If so, will I have to get a new plan when this one expires? I currently have a basic family plan for 3 lines sharing 1400 minutes costing $100 per month.
