Default Ben... where are you!

We've got a resident Xperia expert in the house but he refuses to show his face. Benjamin... where are you!

Xperia is coming out by the end of September now... thats a fact... soooo you can't hide your face for too long.

Nice... but your signature isn't exactly reassuring. I think you may have just been downgraded from resident xperia expert to village idiot.

Sheesh!

Village idiot here...

The first couple reviews noted that the panel system was a little sluggish, however, those were pre-production models for whatever its worth, they were also running pre-release version of Windows Mobile 6.1 (I believe, they may have been running WM 6.0 Stable)

Either way, any issues with sluggishness seem to have been resolved as of lately - most notably considering the in-depth review BoyGeniusReport recently did and only had issues with the feel/feedback of the keyboard (Which is also up for interpretation given reviews by Engadget and other mobile sites that didnt have the keyboard complaints)

Simply put, all signs point towards a snappy, quick interface that lacks the sluggishness thats noticeable in other WM 6.0 phones like the AT&T Tilt (Which I currently own)

I haven't yet had the pleasure of using the Tilt, but every WM phone I've ever used has been sluggish to some degree. Nothing in comparison to Symbian in terms of response time. It'll be interested to see if Sony Ericsson can actually produce a version that doesn't have the lag that WM is so known for.

Judging from the videos, that might be a vast improvement. I'm actually suprised SE when for WM instead of their own thing (heck, UIQ seems better than WM).
